新西兰派225名运动员参加东京奥运会

新西兰全搜索综合消息报道,新西兰奥运代表团派出了225名运动员出征东京奥运会,其中有110名男运动员和111名女运动员参与竞技。本届奥运会新西兰奥运代表团的主要项目看点有田径、自行车、足球、划船、橄榄球、帆船等项目。

17岁的游泳运动员艾瑞卡·飞瑞爱是新西兰奥运代表团本届派出的运动员中最年轻的,年龄最大的是51岁的马术运动员布鲁斯·高迪恩。

东京奥运会开幕式上新西兰运动员披的斗篷是传统的毛利战袍。战袍是有新西兰手工艺人Rānui Ngārimu制作的,整件斗篷一共用了400-500束的麻纤维,100多束的鸟类羽毛(包括国鸟几维鸟,鸮鹦鹉,信天翁,鞍背鸦)。斗篷里面因为含有濒危鸟类的羽毛,在出新西兰国门和再次返回新西兰国门的时候都需要走特殊的审批程序和途径,以符合野生动物保护条例。

新西兰奥运比赛直播(7月23日-8月8日)的电视频道是在免费频道新西兰国家电视台1台(TVNZ1)和数字频道天空电视台(SKY TV)。

新西兰国家电视台1台将会每天进行12小时的奥运比赛直播,主要关注有新西兰奥运选手参加的比赛,其他娱乐节目将转移到新西兰国家电视台2台播出。

数字付费频道天空电视台将开启包括奥运金牌频道在内的12个电视频道全方位直播奥运比赛,每天从新西兰时间中午的12点直播到凌晨2点。

Day one (Saturday, July 24)

Rowing – With three New Zealand crews competing; Cycling – Men’s Road Race with George Bennett and Patrick Bevan; Boxing – With David Nyika; Swimming – Men’s heats with Lewis Clareburt and Zac Reid.

Day two (Sunday, July 25)

Surfing – First time at the Olympics; Rowing – including the eights; Swimming – Women’s heats with Ali Galyer and Erika Fairweather; Canoe Slalom – Women’s K1 heats with Luuka Jones; Football – Men’s, New Zealand v Honduras.

Day three (Monday, July 26)

Triathlon – Men’s; Rugby – Men’s competition starts; Rowing – Men’s and women’s; Swimming – Women’s heats with Eve Thomas, Hayley McIntosh and Erika Fairweather; Mountain Bike – Men’s Cross Country with Anton Cooper.

Day four (Tuesday, July 27)

Triathlon – Women’s; Rugby – Men’s pool play and quarterfinals; Rowing – Semis and finals; Canoe Slalom – Women’s K1 semis and final; Swimming – Heats with Zac Reid; Football – Women’s, New Zealand v Sweden.

Day five (Wednesday, July 28)

Rowing – Semis and finals; Swimming – Heats with Lewis Clareburt; Canoe Slalom – Heats with Luuka Jones and Callum Gilbert; Rugby – Men’s semis and medal matches.

Day six (Thursday, July 29)

Rowing – Finals; Rugby – Women’s competition starts; BMX – Women’s with Rebecca Petch; Shooting – Women’s Trap; Swimming – Heats with Eve Thomas.

Day seven (Friday, July 30)

Rowing – Finals; Swimming – Finals; Rugby – Women’s pool play and quarterfinals; Athletics – Women’s, with Val Adams, Maddison-Lee Wesche and Camille Buscomb; Men’s, with Hamish Kerr and Connor Bell.

Day eight (Saturday, July 31)

Triathlon – Mixed relay; Rugby – Women’s semis and medal matches; Athletics.

Day nine (Sunday, August 1)

Equestrian – Eventing Cross Country; Athletics – Women’s, with Julia Ratcliffe and Lauren Bruce; Sailing – Nacra and Laser medal races.

Day 10 (Monday, August 2)

Canoe Sprint – with Lisa Carrington; Sailing; Track Cycling – first day of competition; Equestrian –Eventing; Weightlifting – Women’s, with Laurel Hubbard.

Day 11 (Tuesday, August 3)

Canoe Sprint; Sailing; Track Cycling; Athletics.

Day 12 (Wednesday, August 4)

Canoe Sprint; Sailing; Track Cycling.
